News from the Dover-New Philadelphia region

Actress Juliette Regnier portrays former US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the Dover Public Library.  Regnier's interpretation revolved around concepts related to gender equality.  She is a member of Women in History Ohio, founded in 1991, and "dedicated to the education of all people, regardless of age, race or socio-economic status through the dramatic recreation of the lives of notable women in history." Pictured at left giving the program introduction is Sherrel Rieger, the library's adult programming specialist.

Learn about Medicare

DOVER – Pam Wirt, who has worked in the insurance industry for 10 years, will be in the community room of the Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St., at 6:30 pm Tuesday to share her expertise on the different parts of Medicare and what is covered.

She will also explain when the best time is to sign up for Medicare and will answer questions that participants may have about the federal program.
